I’m not sure about you, dear reader, but I have a deep love for interior design. Since as long as I can remember, I have always been so fascinated by the ways in which the people fill and use their sacred spaces – their homes, their bedrooms, or even their outdoor spaces. I love it all.

If you ask my parents, they will tell you that as a child I would constantly change my room’s “theme”. One week would be nature, and the next would be Chic SpongeBob. This has not changed as an adult, I simply went from Spongebob to simplicity. Every corner of my room tells a story. I am able to look at each detail with a smile, as my heart flutters at the beauty of a memory, or the thrill of a thrifted find.

This is to say that a running theme on my blog is going to consist of my spaces. Spaces that I curate either on my own, with loved ones, or spaces others have cultivated that I deeply appreciate. A space in its bare state is essentially a palette for anyone to mess around with, and what is conceived is a representation of the person who inhabits it. I think that’s so beautiful, and I believe there’s an art to creating a space that makes one feel whole.

With that, here it is. If you’re feeling curious about what my room looked like a couple of months ago, just click here.

P.S. Feel free to check out my Pinterest home board for my what inspired me if you’re feeling spicy!!

Much love,

M
