A+ D – Tampa, FL., USA

Our most recent endeavor was to the balmy state of Florida, a place which, to be honest, I had never dreamt of visiting. However, our trip changed my perception of the sunshine state. The people were warm, kind, and wholesome. The environment was insanely unique and exciting (I saw an alligator, y’all!!!!!). And yes, the drivers and rain were as crazy as I thought, but it makes for fun mems, right?

Moreover, I finally got to meet Gabe’s mom and beloved Layla, their sweet puppy angel baby. We had charcuterie, played cards against humanity (I won, nbd), and created memories that I will hold in my heart for a lifetime.

Gabriel’s longtime friend Ash, and her beau, Duncan had a wedding that was otherworldly. A cellist filled the church with magic pre-ceremony – which was doubly magical – the food was soooo dang good, and the reception was an absolute banger.

Overall, Florida ain’t so bad!

So that’s it! It was a delight to watch love unfold between these three couples and to get the chance to celebrate among so many lovely people. The chance to travel with Gabriel was something neither of us could have fathomed during our park days, so I’m grateful for that too.
